Here are a few steps you can take to protect yourself and your clients.

1. Change your email password on a regular basis and ask your clients to change theirs as well. 

2. Educated your clients about wire fraud.

3. NEVER email wire instructions to your client. Let the title company send them.

4. Have your clients call the title company to verify the account number over the phone.

5. NEVER send confidential info over free Wi-Fi.
